Lindsay Lohan Tried to Bribe the Trucker, Claims Crash Wasn’t Her Fault
On Friday, Lindsay Lohan got into a traffic accident where she managed to rear end an 18-wheeler with a rented Porsche. More details about the crash were released over the weekend.
The truck driver claims Lindsay’s people tried to bribe him after he stopped her from fleeing the scene and packed a mysterious pink bag before the cops came.
Lindsay was driving on the PCH yesterday when she collided with a semi-truck driven by James (we’re leaving out his last name). Lohan was trailed by a Cadillac Escalade (which James refers to as a limousine) … driven by someone connected with her Lifetime movie.
James tells TMZ after the accident, he called 911 as Lindsay and her male assistant got out of the Porsche and into the Escalade. James says the assistant picked up a pink bag, “filled it up with something” and then put clothes on top of it.
James claims the driver of the Escalade was trying to keep him away from the SUV. James says he wanted to exchange info with Lindsay (whom he did not recognize) but it was apparent to him she was about to flee the scene.
James says the Escalade driver offered him money, saying they could “go to the bank” and withdraw some cash.
James has already lawyered up claiming he was injured in the crash despite previously telling reporters he was fine. Someone should tell him Lindsay is broke and the most he can get from her is a used toothbrush.
Meanwhile, Lindsay is still sticking with her story that the 18 wheeler cut her off. Though now she’s also saying her brakes failed.
According to our sources, Lindsay is sticking with the “truck cut me off!!!” story, but with a twist … she claims she slammed on the brakes … but nothing. And get this … somehow Lindsay says she was told the brakes on the rental were replaced two days before the crash.
Before this gets any more out of hand, someone should tell Lindsay that the brake is the pedal on the right.
(Preemptive of any more comments, yes… I know. But hopefully Lindsay doesn’t. Or still doesn’t.)

Hello. Lindsay Lohan was not badly injured in this violent car crash with an 18 Wheeler Truck. The engineering of the 911 she was driving is designed to protect the space where a driver and a passenger sit in a 911. I am so thankful she was not injured. Lindsay is an astonishing talent as a film actress. I wish her the best. The truck driver could present himself as a hero, all he need do is say out loud that he too is thankful Lindsay was not injured. JOHN LONGENECKER
