- Karen Klein, who was bullied by kids on the bus she monitors, did not accept the apology from one of the students who teased her. She said she’ll wait for a real one that wasn’t released to the media first. Meanwhile, the charity drive that was setup to send her on a nice vacation has now reached $544,000. Karen isn’t think about that, however, as she tells Anderson Cooper she doesn’t think there’s any way the money is actually going to reach her checking account. In related news, I’m now riding random school buses with a video camera in hopes I’ll be teased mercilessly by a bunch of 8th graders. I’m gonna be rich!
- Tony Parker is suing W.i.P. nightclub for $20M after suffering a scratched cornea as a result of the Chris Brown/Drake brawl that went down. He says the club is at fault for knowingly seating the two next to each other and continuing to sell them alcohol despite some of them being “visibility intoxicated.”
- A supermarket in Süderlügum promoted its grand opening last week by offering free groceries to the first 100 shoppers who showed up naked. The owner thought at most 10 would show up but that number was closer to 250, most of them Danes who came to stock up on alcohol. Never underestimate the will of alcoholics. NSFW video here.
