If there’s one thing the internet excels in, it’s trolling. For example, when Something Awful rallied the troops to send Pitbull to Kodiak Island, Alaska, the most remote Walmart in America.
Having not learned from that experience, which turned out to be surprisingly positive for everyone, Chegg & Papa Johns have teamed up to present the Taylor Swift on Campus Contest where people vote for the school Taylor should play at.
Naturally, since this is the internet, 4chan came up with the brilliant idea of having her play at the Horace Mann School for the Deaf. They’ve now started a campaign to get everyone to vote for the school which as of now has 29,934 votes. The next school that anyone can tell with the highest votes is UCI at 13,000+.
Not only is Horace Mann leading by a wide margin, per the rules, every school in the contest will be “leveled” which means the votes will be divided by how many thousand students a school has. Considering UCI has thousands while Horace Mann has 128, the contest may already have a clear winner.
So if they don’t outright delete the school, you’ll see Taylor Swift singing to a bunch of deaf kids in no time. And even though they’re deaf, they’ll still cringe after every line and curse god for letting them read lips.
