Lindsay Lohan Arrested in NYC for Fleeing the Scene

Lindsay Lohan was arrested in NYC this morning for hitting a pedestrian in downtown Manhattan and fleeing the scene.

Cops say Lindsay was parking her Porsche Cayenne near the Dream Hotel when she ran into the knee of a 30-something guy around midnight. One of the passengers got out to check the vehicle for damage and then they went into the hotel. Naturally, we wouldn’t want some peon’s knee damaging the Porsche.

Police were called while she was inside and 2 hours later when she walked out, she was immediately arrested. She was heard screaming, “Call my dad! Call my dad!” Lindsay was booked for leaving the scene of an accident and then released with a desk appearance ticket.

The victim was checked out at the hospital but didn’t have any visible injuries. He claims Lindsay was “slurring” her words and reeked of booze. Granted, that’s not really an indictment of Lindsay considering she always reeks of booze. That’s all her sweat glands produce now.

However, surveillance video of the incident shows the guy is exaggerating. The video shows Lindsay’s car going at a very slow pace going down a ramp while the guy was walking in the pedestrian path. The car did get close to the guy but it’s unclear if it ever made contact. After reviewing the tape this morning, one detective believed Lindsay grazed the back of the victim’s leg while another thought the car never made contact.

Not that it’ll matter because the video shows that after Lindsay goes down the ramp, the victim starts sprinting after her. Only when he caught up to Lindsay did he realize it was her since there was a crowd forming at the entrance of the club. When asked about this, the victim will probably look side to side, grab his knee and go “Ow, ow, ow, ow!”

The only odd thing is Lindsay left the club minutes after arriving, got in her car and left for a little bit and then came back. Probably to refill on cigs and condoms.

For her part, Lindsay is calling the story “really fishy” because the guy had no visible injuries. She believes she was set up. Which may be true but can’t we put her in jail anyway just to be safe? And when I say jail, I mean dungeon. The kind with lepers and surrounded by a moat with hungry crocodiles and that you have to fight your way out of to gain your freedom. I think that’d be pretty cool.
