Hulk Hogan seems to be vastly overestimating the value of his sex tape as he and his lawyers held a very important press conference announcing their $100 million lawsuit against Gawker who leaked excerpts of the tape.
Hogan claims he “had a reasonable expectation of privacy in his consensual, intimate activities in a private bedroom and reasonably believed that his privacy was safe and protected.” Reasonable expectation could be a point of contention considering it wasn’t his house he banged Bubba the Love Sponge’s wife in. Hulk is also suing Bubba the Love Sponge though it’s not clear what he’s asking for. Another crack at Heather Clem maybe?
Meanwhile, Bubba went on his radio show claiming to have never seen the tape. He even says Hulk Hogan might have been the one to leak it. That wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility. None of these lawsuits ever make it to court and no one will ever know what they agreed on. They could just pay each other in high fives for all we know.
