Linda Hogan Arrested for DUI, Hulk Will Sue

The day that Gawker posted a clip from Hulk Hogan’s sex tape, Linda Hogan was arrested on suspicion of DUI. This can’t be a coincidence even though this happened before Gawker’s post went up.

Around 1:34 AM Thursday morning, Linda was taken into custody and booked. Her blood alcohol was a .084, a little above the legal limit of .08. She was released a few hours later on $5,000 bail.

A rep for Linda says she was on her way home from a jewelry function where she had a glass of champagne on an empty stomach. Combined with the antibiotics she was taking, it magnified the effects of the alcohol.

In related news, Hulk Hogan is threatening Gawker with a lawsuit unless they pull the video clip down. Says the Hulkster’s lawyer, “This tape was made secretly without Hulk’s knowledge or permission. We are going to do everything in our power to figure out who did it. Anyone displaying the tape will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”

Don’t you wish his lawyer would talk like they did in those old wrestling promos? “Brother, that tape was made without our permission.
