Content to beat a dead horse, Sarah Jessica Parker is hoping to saddle up for another installment in the Sex and the City franchise. “I know what the story is. It’s a small story, but I think it should be told. The question is, what’s the right time to tell it?” As you can tell, she’s hoping to rein in the other cast members for a third movie.
One person not on board with this is Cynthia Nixon. She’s saying neigh. Nixon doesn’t think they need to stirrup the past. “I think we had a wonderful ride. I think it’s fine to let it go,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.
No word on if Kim Cattrall or Kristin Davis feel as salty about a possible third movie as Cynthia does. Though they’ll probably be on board if the studio ponies up some big bucks.
For now, however, those interested in Sex and the City will have to stable their hopes. I mean, there’s no need to get whinny about it.
