Michael “The Voice” Schiavello sat down for an entire HOUR with Steven Seagal asking him about everything from his present, past and future. It was surprising how much ground they covered in only an hour considering Steven spent most of the hour self-aggrandizing.
Here are a few key parts of the interview to look for in no particular order:
- Steven Seagal knows the real story behind Iran-Contra.
- The speech he gave at the end of On Deadly Ground was almost exactly what Al Gore said years later which won him the Nobel Peace Prize. I think he’s alluding to the fact that prize should have been his. Presumably to buy more donuts with.
- Steven was the first one they called when Brandon Lee was shot while filming The Crow. They told Steven they shot him with a gun they thought was loaded with blanks. The omniscient Steven told them they’d find a projectile in him. And, holy crap, they did. They shot Brandon with a gun and defying all logic they found a bullet in him the next day!!!
- Anderson Silva sent Seagal a postcard asking him to teach him his most lethal stuff. I still think this was an inside joke from Blackhouse that evolved into something else.
