Lindsay Lohan Could Go to Jail for Lying to the Cops

Lindsay Lohan may be charged with a misdemeanor for lying to the cops after rear-ending a semi on Pacific Coast Highway back in June. Lindsay told police she was not driving despite multiple witnesses saying she was.

The charge could trigger a probation violation for Lindsay, who’s currently on probation for stealing jewelry. The judge could send Lindsay to jail for a long time.

And law enforcement sources tell us … cops found prescription pills in her purse after the crash. Witnesses tell us pills were also scattered in her trunk. Our sources say authorities were prepared to charge LiLo with drug crimes, but Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, gave cops documentations from Lindsay’s doctor, saying the pills were properly prescribed. Authorities then backed off that charge. TMZ

Of course, none of that is going to happen. The only way Lindsay is going to jail is if someone left a trail of Red Bull Vodkas to a cell.
