Lindsay Lohan Devastated by Terrible ‘Liz & Dick’ Reviews

Sources say Lindsay Lohan thought everyone would love her new role as Elizabeth Taylor in Liz & Dick and wasn’t prepared for harsh criticism.

A close friend tells HufPo, “She has got used to all the negative press around her personal life but this is the first time she has experienced it about her work. No matter how bad things were going for her personally, everyone would always agree that she was a great actress.”

No, wait, what?! Back up for just one second. Let’s analyze that last sentence that said everyone always agreed she was a great actress. This has never been true. And any idea that this was should have been shattered years ago with flops like Just My Luck, Bobby, Georgia Rule, I Know Who Killed Me, and Labor Pains. Are you telling me it took 6 years for reality to finally sink in?

This quote tells me 1 of 3 things. This source is Dina Lohan, Lindsay Lohan is truly delusional or Lindsay is surrounded by more sycophants than previously thought.

The insider went on about how Lindsay now has doubts about her acting. “She knew the script wasn’t strong but thought she would bring the role of Elizabeth to life. This is particularly heartbreaking as her acting was the only thing in her life that she knew was real. Now she is doubting that, too.”

Let me echo the sentiments of the entire world by saying, “Ya think?!” How hard does reality need to slap this chick for her to get it? I mean, just, no. C’mon, you’re making these quotes up aren’t you?

About Liz & Dick – fiasco MY PERSONAL OPINION: LL was so strongly absorbed by her own personality that she completely forgot that she had to “act” as Elizabeth T! I think she was superficial and frivolous in interpreting a role so great … and the eyes … she never focus on camera with that ET unique seductive look that ravished the public in so many movies, forever charming the audience. She was always hiding her eyes while speaking. She was more like a spoiled diva rather then a talented actress. She showed like a women tormented by her own… Read more »

Never seen the movie, but this sounds like a well thought-out opinion of her acting.

I honestly do not wish anything bad for her but I’m glad this happened. She needs the real world to be a bigger part of her life and get rid of those that call themselves her parents….

Lindsey you got problems, face them, look at them so you don’t end up like Nichole Smith…
