Sundance Rejected ‘The Canyons’

Lindsay Lohan’s film comeback is getting off to a rocky start. Not only was there that article in the New York Times about how she never showed up to work on time and was generally difficult to work with on the set of The Canyons but now Sundance has rejected the movie from playing their festival. Producers think it might all have to do with everyone thinking Lindsay is a complete screw-up. They probably didn’t want her crotch to overshadow the festival like it did the Venice one 7 years ago.

Braxton Pope, The Canyons producer, is now telling his agents William Morris/Endeavor that they’re having a screening for buyers at the end of the month and some big companies are interested. Big, big companies! “Like FOX and MGM?” Like, uh, hey, look, what’s that behind you?! *Runs away*
