The 70th Golden Globes Were on Sunday

The 70th Golden Globes took place Sunday night seeing winners like ArgoLes Miserables and Daniel Day-Lewis. Basically, most everyone you thought would win for their respective categories did. Granted, that’s not to say the best movie/actor won but that’s what happened.

Argo took home the best drama movie, Les Miserables won for best comedy or musical film, Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln) won for best actor in a movie drama while Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty, see our review here) won for best actress in a movie drama.

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck won best director for Argo despite not being nominated for an Oscar. Hugh Jackman took home honors for best actor in a movie comedy for musical and Anne Hathaway won for best supporting actress in a movie. The best actress in a movie comedy or musical went to Jennifer Lawrence for Silver Linings Playbook. This is probably going to make her the most sought after young actress next year. Again.

Quentin Tarantino, who won for best movie screenplay, talked about using the N-word backstage saying how critics thought he should soften the use of the word and how he would never do that.

Anyway, what you’re probably really looking for is who wore what on the red carpet. I don’t have any idea about that but I do have pictures. Lots of them. Separated into men and women. Pick your poison. Do you want to see a terrified Debra Messing, Megan Fox’s post-baby body, Halle Berry’s un-aging face, a pregnant Kristen Bell, Eva Longoria trying to pull off an Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek’s boobs, Maria Menounos’s crazy face or a bunch of dudes in tuxes. It’s a tough call.
