A report by 9to5Google says Google plans to take on those Apple and Microsoft stores with one of its own. They feel that customers would be more apt to buy their Google experience products such as the Nexus 7, Nexus 4, etc. if they were able to physically handle it. The decision to expand into retail was made when they were trying to figure out how best to introduce Google Glass to customers.
