Kaley was paid to put up a sponsored tweet by Dish which read, “Amazing! Watching live TV anywhere on the #Hopper looks pretty awesome! Now where can I find a tiny beer? #ad bit.ly/WUwAkz.”
Yesterday, the sponsored tweet disappeared. In a statement released by Dish, the company claims CBS demanded Kaley remove it. “It’s disappointing that CBS – once the exemplar of editorial independence and innovation – continues to use its heavy hand to hold back progress from consumers,” said Joe Clayton, DISH president and CEO. Adding, “In just a few short hours, Cuoco’s tweet had earned thousands of clicks from consumers interested in learning more about the DISH DVR experience.”
Kaley probably has no idea what’s going on. If you told me to describe a network tv actress, I would just tell you to imagine a chicken with its head cut off running around everywhere until someone shoved it into a low cut dress and high heels.
