Celebrities are god damn weird. They name their babies these stupid names because they want to be unique. That’s why we have Blue Ivy and Shiloh and Maddox and Kel-el and Apple. That trend seemed to be dying out but it’s made a resurgence with Holly Madison.
Holly gave birth a few days ago and now we find out what name she’s cursed her daughter with. She told E!, “I wanted to give my daughter a unique name. Growing up, there was a girl in my school named Rainbow and I was so envious of that name. I thought it was so pretty and unique!”
Rainbow. She named her kid Rainbow as in Rainbow Brite. Her kid’s full name will be Rainbow Aurora Rotella. It’s like Holly just opened a Highlights magazine at the doctor’s office and picked out words that sounded pretty.
