Gywneth Paltrow Admits Her Marriage Has Problems

This may come as a shock to some of you but Gwyneth Paltrow’s marriage isn’t perfect. She may look like she has it all together what with her fashion and health Goop newsletters and whatever but she tells Glamour UK that “It’s hard being married. You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We’re the same as any couple.”

She asked her dad for advice and he gave her a somewhat disheartening answer. “I asked my dad once, ‘How did you and Mom stay married for 33 years?'” she tells the mag. “And he said, ‘Well, we never wanted to get divorced at the same time.'”

So how does she make her marriage work? By not being an overly attached wife. “I’m a very grounded, homey person, and Chris is a very mad scientist, genius songwriter,” she adds. “So I never say, ‘Where are you? You should be home by now.’ I never place demands on him because I think he’s a really talented man and he’s putting something good into the world.”

You know what’s strange? That a dancer would name herself World. That doesn’t sound like a very good stripper name.
