The Annie remake, starring Quvenzhane Wallis (try saying that 10 times fast) as Annie, Jamie Foxx as Daddy Warbucks and produced by Will Smith and Jay-Z, has found its Miss Hannigan in Cameron Diaz. Hannigan is the mean lady who runs the orphanage.
A perfect choice for a role that calls for someone “scary” and “witch-like.” Actually, I don’t know if that’s what it said on the casting sheet. But if it did, Cameron Diaz has got those qualities.
