Chad Johnson was on his way to being granted a very favorable plea deal for his probation violation in his domestic violence case until the judge got really pissed after he slapped his lawyer on the ass.
Johnson was moments away from avoiding jail when he gave his lawyer a “good job” pat on the ass causing the courtroom to bust out laughing. The judge did not like that at all. She called it disrespectful and chewed out Johnson asking him if this whole thing was a joke to him.
Said Johnson, “I had no intent to make this a joke because my life is in shambles right now.”
The judge ended up rescinding the plea deal and Chad was arrested in the courtroom and ordered to serve 30 days in jail.
Kind of a dumbass move by Johnson but an over the top reaction by the judge. Look at me. I’m a judge. Look at the power I have. I can decide things on a whim! Screw context!
