According to the coroner, Glee star Cory Monteith, 31, died of a “mixed drug toxicity” or, put simply, an overdose from a mixture of heroin and alcohol.
Monteith checked into the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Canada on July 6 not looking any worse for wear. He and his manager ate on Thursday night with Maureen Webb of the Project Limelight Society who also said he “looked so good, so healthy.”
The next night, Monteith and three friends left his hotel. He returned later alone at 2:15 am on Saturday. His body was found by hotel staff shortly after noon.
If you haven’t figured it out by now, heroin is bad. Cory seemed to have his life together on the outside and completed two seemingly successful stints in rehab and was one of the stars of a successful show. Compare that to Lindsay Lohan who doesn’t mess with heroin and instead, just messes with weed, coke and bad judgement. She’s been jailed, in rehab 40 times and look at her. She’s somehow still alive. She’s like the cockroach of the celebrity world.
