Lady Gaga Premieres Music Video for ‘Applause’

It’s clear by now that Lady Gaga’s ARTPOP is supposed to be, er, an art project. Not quite a concept album and not quite an easily digestible pop record. Whereas before she was all about shock, now she’s all about the abstract. Because that’s what true artists do. Performance pieces that make no sense.

And like any true artist, Lady Gaga headed over to Good Morning America to debut her new video for Applause all over Time Square.
