Chris Brown Is Being Kept Down by the Man

Chris Brown had a lot to say in a cover story for Jet magazine. Mostly it was him crying about how he’s being oppressed. He also whines about Jay Z and how he gets a pass for stabbing some guy while everyone always reminds him about how he punched Rihanna in the face 50 times.

First, about Jay Z and how he’s accepted by White America because he kisses babies. In 2001 Jay Z plead guilty to stabbing record producer Lance Rivera at a 199 listening party in Manhattan but no one talks about that anymore.

“This is something I’ve been dealing with for the past maybe five years,” he told Jet, per CNN. “Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted … except maybe for Jay Z, who is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.”

Chris then goes off on how the master has been giving him lashings for what seems like forever. I think he’s mad that he doesn’t make even more money and get more special treatment.

“I got to the point where it’s only so much you can take from the master, you feel me?” he told Jet. “I’ve taken my fair share of lashings. I’ve dealt with the media. Instead of being an artist, I’ve been called a woman beater; I’ve been insulted in public and judged. And being able to not want to kill yourself at the end of the day is what made me say, ‘F**k it.'”

If you’ll remember, Chris Brown was one of the top artists being paid millions before the Rihanna incident. Afterward, the radio stopped playing his music for about 3 months before he became… a top artist being paid a little less millions. Oh and he also identifies with Trayvon Martin because why not.

“I identify with Trayvon 100 percent as far as living in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism,” he told the magazine. “This generation is so used to racism that it’s normal; we don’t care. We aren’t on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as ni**as.”

Blatant racism. Like when Chris Brown dressed up as a stereotypical terrorist one Halloween? Yea, America still has tons of people like that. Go cry into your 1500 thread count ostrich pillow, Chris.
