Bart Simpson Pays Tribute to Mrs. K on Sunday Night’s ‘Simpsons’

I haven’t watched The Simpsons in years because it’s terrible compared to how it once was so I only heard about Marcia Wallace’s tribute on Sunday night’s episode after the fact. Marcia Wallace, who voiced Edna Krabappel who recently married Ned Flanders, passed away last month at 70 due to pneumonia complications.

Originally, the network planned to air Bart the Lover, the episode from season 3 that Wallace won her first and only Emmy for. A technical issue prevented that from happening and they replaced it with The Ned-Liest Catch.

Anyway, they still managed to pay tribute to Wallace by having Bart write on the chalkboard, “We’ll really miss you Mrs. K.”

No word on how Ned Flanders will take this considering this is the second wife that’s died on him. At some point God has to stop dicking this guy around.
