Today I’ll be talking with Playboy’s Miss November 2013 Gemma Lee Farrell. She’s the first New Zealand-born Playmate which is kind of interesting considering how long Playboy has been around. Also, she has a boyfriend and, according to her, he looks like Channing Tatum. Pfft, whatever. *Flexes*
Fun fact: Farrell had her Instagram profile temporarily deleted because she showed some nipple in one of her photos. Fascists.
You’re the first New Zealand-born Playmate. How does that make you feel?
It’s an amazing feeling! I’m proud to be a New Zealander and so proud to be a Playmate.
Your stats list you as 5’8”. That’s sort of tall for a woman. What’s it like to tower over men in heels? Do you feel a sense of superiority?
I always say 5’8″, but really I’m 5’7.5″ to be exact :) My boyfriend is a lot taller than me. He loves me wearing heels and being the same height as him. Height is sexy :)
Playboy photogs reconnected with you after seeing your photos on Instagram. Will Instagram be the new Model Mayhem?
I think so! I use Instagram for work and sharing my photos with the rest of the world.
Now that you’ve shot for playboy. What’s your next goal?
I want to start acting. Acting has always been my #1 but modeling took over my life the past 5 years.
What do you do for fun besides modeling and, um, modeling?
I travel A LOT. I’m actually going to Spain on the 4th November for Monster Energy. I want to travel until I can’t travel anymore!
I noticed you still have an AOL email address. Yet you’re only 24. How does that make any sense at all? Wasn’t AOL before your time? How is this possible?

Google! I will Google so much every day–everything from how to cook meatballs to things about my body to my dreams at night.

Breaking Bad, Eastbound and Down (Kenny powers is the s**t), Weeds and, right now, I’m onto Army wives…gotta love Netflix!
Favorite chick flick?
The Sweetest Thing, Fried Green Tomatoes or Beaches…. ohhhh How I love those last 2 movies!!
Do you have a celebrity crush?
Yes! Ryan Gosling, and Channing Tatum (my man looks identical to him, it’s crazy!)

Hahaha hell yeah! I’m trying to see how that would work in my mind right now.

I’m a big FAMILY girl—I speak to my parents almost every day even though they are on the other side of the world; I have a scar on my left arm from falling on glass at my Grandma’s when I was 3 (I got 60 stitches); I was a midwife to a sheep when I was younger and helped it birth a lil lamby. Do you have a deep dark secret that you’ve never told anyone? Like, replacing/rearranging someone’s birth control pills?
Haha no! That’s psychotic. I do have secrets but they are for me to know and for you to hopefully not find out…hehe
