Philip Seymour Hoffman Found Dead In His Manhattan Apartment

Philip Seymour Hoffman, 46, was found dead Sunday afternoon inside his Greenwich apartment.

The New York Post reports that cops were called at around 11:30 a.m. and that the cause of death was likely an overdose. Hoffman still had a hypodermic needle in his arm when his personal assistant found him.

Hoffman, clean for 23 years, fell off the wagon in 2012. He had checked himself into rehab for heroin back in May.
