Seth Rogen’s Opening Statement Before A Senate Hearing On Alzheimer’s Research

Seth Rogen gave his opening statement before a Senate hearing on Alzheimer’s Research yesterday. His statement was peppered with jokes but also some touching stories about how the disease has affected his family. His wife’s mother actually suffers from it.

Rogen notes that the disease is nothing like the movies in that, sure you forget things, but as it progresses, it eventually strips you of your entire identity. It’s a good listen and shows that politics isn’t always boring. Sadly, there were no jerking off jokes. A shame because that would have gone over real well with this crowd.

In related news, Rogen has begun shaming senators because only two showed up to his testimony. Six were there but four left before his speech.
