Farrah Abraham Being Dropped From Teen Mom for Setting ‘Bad Example’

Um.

A source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly that MTV execs “willingly cut Farrah” from negotiations, in part because, as Us reported back in March, the three other alums refused to do the show if she did. “MTV agreed,” the insider says. “They feel she set a bad example and doesn’t represent the network well.”

Portwood, 24, Bookout, 22, and Lowell, also 22, requested earlier that Abraham, 22, be axed from a potential reboot of the reality series. “They don’t want their kids on a show where someone’s talking about sex toys,” a source previously told Us.

Abraham, for her part, is just fine with that. “Truthfully, I was never friends with any of them,” she told Us in April of her former costars. “Personally, I like to keep my life separate. We came in the project separate, and I think it’s best we keep our lives separate.”

Setting a bad example? This was a show about irresponsible teenagers having babies. Not only that but Amber Portwood was in prison for 17 months for drug possession and admitted being always high while filming Teen Mom. Catelynn Lowell gave her daughter up for adoption. Maci Bookout went back to college and is probably the only relatively normal one. Oh, but Farrah Abraham has one porn star stick it up her butt and now she’s a bad example? Yea, let’s pretend that 5 year prison sentence was as routine as going to the doctor.

Were teen moms supposed to be setting the example to begin with? Sex toys and teenagers? Just move the show to HBO
