Evan Rachel Wood Being Sued for $30M

Evan Rachel Wood has been hit with a $30 million lawsuit for dropping out of the sequel to 10 Things I Hate About You titled 10 Things I Hate About Life.

The suit alleges Woods was fronted $300,000 to play the lead. Producers shut down production in January 2013 but resumed production in November 2013. Wood, however, refused to return to work. They allege they begged her to come back and agreed to an increase in pay but she never returned.

Wood’s rep tells TMZ the lawsuit is a “bullying tactic from financially troubled producers” who ran out of money during production, and could never “get their act together” to resume shooting. The rep adds the producers didn’t pay Evan money she was owed … and says they are the ones who breached the contract.

Watching the trailer for 10 Things I Hate About Life, I don’t blame her. If this were Roman times and this film were someone’s baby, it’d be thrown off a cliff. I’d rather pass a kidney stone the size of a softball than sit through this.
