James Franco’s ‘Child of God’ Trailer Is Out

Scott Haze, Tim Blake Nelson and James Franco star in Child of God directed by James Franco. According to the trailer, the film makes No Country for Old Men look lightweight. Judging by the trailer, it’s about some backcountry weirdo who’s pretty good with a gun. He goes around shooting people. I assume the police are after him because that’s not something you’re allowed to do.

Anyway, I figure it’d be good to read the synopsis. Apparently this guy, Lester, is a necrophiliac who lives in a cave. So, yea. You could say the movie is about the American Dream.
