Robert Downey Jr.’s Son Arrested for Cocaine

Like father like son. Indio Downey, Robert Downey Jr.’s son, was arrested in West Hollywood on Sunday afternoon for cocaine possession. Cops found the drugs after a traffic stop. Indio has since posted his $10,000 bail. RDJ released a statement shortly after the arrest.

“Unfortunately there’s a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it. Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we’re all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he’s capable of being. We’re grateful to the Sheriff’s department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale.”

Robert Downey Jr. turned his life around dramatically so there’s nothing stopping Indio from doing the same. Except for maybe more cocaine.
