Everyone is freaking out after realizing Beyoncé, now the the world’s most powerful celebrity, changed the lyrics to an unreleased song, “Resentment,” while performing in Ohio.
Original lyrics to the song were, “I’ll always remember feeling like I was no good / Like I couldn’t do it for you like your mistress could. Been ridin’ with you for six years […] I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me.”
The new lyrics went, “I’ll always remember feeling like I was no good / Like I couldn’t do it for you like that wack bitch could. Been ridin’ with you for twelve years […] I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me. She ain’t even half of me. That bitch will never be.”
Rumors of infidelity have plagued Beyoncé and Jay Z for a while now (he allegedly had an affair with Mya) and this may be the confirmation everyone needed to, well, I’m not sure what they’re going to do with the information. Give them some comfort that even though she’s the most powerful celebrity in the world and on top of her game and pretty, her life isn’t perfect? Whatever gets you through the day.
