If you’re planning on visiting Thailand and checking out one of its many beautiful destinations, don’t wear a bikini. Unless A) you want to be murdered or B) you’re really ugly. This according to Thailand’s prime minister Prayuth Chan-ocha who spoke about the recent killings of two tourists who were bashed in the head and drowned.
“There are always problems with tourist safety,” he said. “They think our country is beautiful and is safe so they can do whatever they want, they can wear bikinis and walk everywhere.”
But “can they be safe in bikinis … unless they are not beautiful?”
This sounds horrible until you look at it from another angle. Thailand may be one of the last places on earth where ugly people have a distinct advantage over pretty people.
