Maria Menounos thought she was being shot at while leaving a New York airport. Menounos says she and her “glam squad” were trying to get on the Van Wyck Expressway when, “I heard an explosion and I started screaming, ‘Everyone down, we’re being shot at. Everyone down!'”
Except, they weren’t being shot at. Looking up, Menounos saw the back window was shattered and her makeup artist was covered in glass. Looking down, they realized someone threw a tire iron through their window. They don’t know if someone was trying to rob them or just had a general distaste for Extra.
