Come February 27th, viewers can reenter the duplicitous world of Frank Underwood. Netlifx released a trailer for the third season of the Emmy-winning drama, House of Cards, today. The trailer opens with Kevin Spacey asking “You wanna know what takes real courage? Holding it all together when the stakes are this high.” A blistering, crescendoing beat rises in the back like a million boots on the ground.
Cuts from the next season’s round of conniving build into Robin Wright telling Spacey, “We’re murderers, Frances”. To which Spacey replies: “We’re survivors.” And then a giant masturbating bear dances onto the screen with video game music in the background. Now, THAT people would watch even more.
