Leonard Nimoy, ‘Star Trek’s’ Spock, Dead at 83

Leonard Nimoy retired to the Starship in the sky today, passing away from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at age 83. Nimoy was rushed to the hospital last week for heart pains. Nimoy blamed years of smoking on his poor health. Celebrities sent their condolences over social media today upon learning of the news.

George Takei wrote ‘Today, the world lost a great man, and I lost a great friend. We return you now to the stars, Leonard. You taught us to “Live Long And Prosper,” and you indeed did, friend. I shall miss you in so many, many ways.’

Fellow Trekkies, pour some synthehol out for a fallen soldier.
