Rick Ross Arrested for Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Battery

Rick Ross getting even more street cred. Word comes out of Georgia the U.S. Marshals took Ross and his bodyguard into custody. Officials charged both with kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery charges. WSB-TV reports:

According to an arrest warrant, Ross was having work done on property that he bought in Fayette County. Ross and James allegedly got into a fight with one of the workers and pistol-whipped him. The report says the men hit Jonathan Zamudio several times with a gun and chipped two of Zamudio’s teeth. Zamudio also suffered serious neck and jaw injuries, according to the warrant.

The warrant says the pair held Zamudio against his will at a guest house.

See, Ross is a stickler for detail. If you don’t fix his house just right, Ross is gonna give you a little something special, a tip if you will.

He went before a magistrate Wednesday morning, but his bail was denied. “But my gardenias, your judge! I have to get back to my gardenias!!” Ross shouted. The guy loves gardening.

The arrest wasn’t too spectacular. No SWAT teams or standoff.

According to Jim Joyner, a supervisor with the Marshals’ Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the arrest wasn’t very eventful:

“They refused to open the gate, so we opened the gate for them,” Joyner said.

Once officers got past the gate, someone inside opened the front door so they didn’t have to break it down, Joyner said. Ross and the bodyguard were then taken into custody without incident, Joyner said.

“They didn’t put up a struggle or anything,” he said.

Hey Georgia, just remember. #BlackLivesMatter.
