Hit the Gym You Slobs, Megan Fox Is Single Again

It’s not often a free agent hits the market in their prime. When it happens, you gotta act fast. So dust that Cheetos off your fingers and put away the World of Warcraft. Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have split up.

“Megan and Brian have decided to separate,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. “They will always love each other very much and are devoted to their kids. Anything could happen in the future, but for now they’ve decided it’s best to take some time apart.”

It happened six months ago actually, according to US Weekly.  What a well-hidden secret. Every day for the past year or so we’ve been hearing about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s eventual separation. The paparazzi probably knew their bowel movements too. Yet, not a peep about Fox and Green.

Sorry, Brian, your tattoos just weren’t cool enough for Fox. It’s not like Fox hasn’t had reservations in the past. The two married in 2010, but that was after two engagements, once in 2006 when they called it off three years later. The other time was in June 2010. That’s when Green didn’t take any chances and married her less than a month later.

I’m calling it right now; the age difference was too much. Megan’s 29 and Green clocks in at 42. Fox probably got tired of hearing “Please, just give it a few more minutes. It needs a little more coaxing, that’s all.”

It could also be careers pulling each other apart. Fox blew up in Transformers, but that was way back in 2007. She worked steadily up until 2013, then had her first kid, Noah. That’s when you see her acting gigs go down. Not one role in 2013. Only had Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 2014 and one role, Zeroville, this year.

Fox may miss the spotlight. She’s only 29. For Hollywood, that’s getting old, but still not glue factory old. If you’re into hot, single mothers of two, today your prospects got slightly better.
