Nicki Minaj Calls Miley Cyrus a ‘Bitch’ at MTV Video Music Awards

Shots fired! Nicki Minaj didn’t let Miley run her mouth too far without a response. Recently, Miley went off on Minaj for her overreaction to a MTV Video Music Award snub for “Anaconda” as Video of the Year. Totally reasonable, since “Anaconda” was so obviously the next “Thriller”. Minaj pulled the race card out and said if it was a skinny white girl in the video, it would’ve totally received a nomination. That was in reference to Taylor Swift’s nomination for “Bad Blood”. In her New York Times interview, Cyrus said:

“If you want to make it about race, there’s a way you could do that. But don’t make it just about yourself. Say: “This is the reason why I think it’s important to be nominated. There’s girls everywhere with this body type.”

She continued:

What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind. It’s not very polite. I think there’s a way you speak to people with openness and love. You don’t have to start this pop star against pop star war. It became Nicki Minaj and Taylor in a fight, so now the story isn’t even on what you wanted it to be about. Now you’ve just given E! News “Catfight! Taylor and Nicki Go at It.”

I know you can make it seem like, Oh I just don’t understand because I’m a white pop star. I know the statistics. I know what’s going on in the world. But to be honest, I don’t think MTV did that on purpose.

Minaj threw more fire onto the feud while accepting the Best Hip-Hop Video award. With trophy in hand, Minaj went off:

And nowww. Back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. Miley, what’s good.

She added a sneer for emphasis.

Miley showed some quick thinking with her reply.

We’re all in this industry. We all do interviews. And we all know how they manipulate. Nicki, congratulations.

Watch the vid below:

I’m calling fake. Why? You can see Nicki crack a smile at Miley right before they cut back to Cyrus.

Unless that’s a sadistic, Imma f**k you up smile. Which it’s unlikely. Guess these two wanna pump up their press.

Anyway, Minaj is way off-base with the race thing. Check out the nominations this year for Video of the Year:

Taylor Swift (featured Kendrick Lamar) – “Bad Blood”
Beyoncé — “7/11”
Kendrick Lamar — “Alright”
Mark Ronson (featuring Bruno Mars) — “Uptown Funk”
Ed Sheeran — “Thinking Out Loud”

Jesus, where are the black people?? Besides Beyoncé I mean. Oh, and Kendrick Lamar. Damn, Nicki, just make better videos. Not this campy s**t you put out.

Update: Miley reaction shot.
