Prolific Japanese director Takashi Miike is gonna scare the s**t out of us all again with his latest film to be released in the U.S., Over Your Dead Body. Takashi has directed 99 times since 1991. That’s bonkers. His most famous films (to me) are 13 Assassins and the controversial Ichi the Killer. Over Your Dead Body looks creepy and beautiful.
The synopsis seems a little Black Swan-y which I think is great, a bunch of actors having their lives ruined by the blurred lines that can arise when you’re romantically involved with your co-star. Plus also there’s a crying baby doll and a bed full of blood! What more could you want?
