Charlie Sheen Will Announce HIV-Positive Diagnosis

Looks like Charlie Sheen is not winning. The actor will announce he is HIV-positive tomorrow on the Today show. His tiger blood is now HIV tiger blood. According to TMZ, Sheen learned of his diagnosis a year ago and tried keeping it under wraps. His mistake, though, was disclosing his condition to a few close confidants. He never learned that you trust no one in Hollywood. Those friends spread the word that sex with Sheen was Russian roulette with your health. TMZ also says:

That led to several of Charlie’s former partners contacting him and threatening a lawsuit because they were unaware of his status when they had interaction with him. Our sources say Charlie settled several of the cases and, in return for money, got confidentiality agreements.

We also know when people go to Charlie’s house they are almost always required to sign confidentiality agreements which require anyone who might make a claim to do so in arbitration and not through the courts … which thereby keeps things private.

Can’t wait to see this Charlie Sheen interview. There are gonna be some new Charlie Sheen quotes in addition to “I got tiger blood, man. My brain…fires in a way that is – I don’t know, maybe not from this particular terrestrial realm” or “I am on a drug. It’s called Charlie Sheen. It’s not available because if you try it, you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body.” Here’s another new quote: “I’m HIV-positive and you’re fucked if we fucked.”

People has more details:

According to top Hollywood publicist and crisis manager Howard Bragman, he was approached by people close to Sheen six months ago to deal with the crisis, but never dealt with him directly. “The interview could open up a lot of sympathy for him, but he has to be concerned about a fear of litigation from former sexual partners. You don’t take that lightly.”

Bragman says he was informed that Sheen “is getting treatment, and a lot of people in his life know about it.”

“It’s been going on for quite awhile. He’s not necessarily comfortable talking about it. It was very hard to get up the courage for him to talk about it.”

Guess his sexcapades caught up with him. And you know who feels a little uneasy right now? This guy.
