Chris Hemsworth is a Nice Boy and Paid His Parents’ Debts with Thor Money

I knew I always liked Chris Hemsworth. Then again, doesn’t any reasonably nice celebrity do this? Everyone buys their mom a house once they get famous. But it seems like nice runs in the Hemsworth gene pool, that or it’s sibling rivalry.

Chris’ younger and frankly less exciting brother Liam, star of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, spoke to The Independent about his brother’s act of kindness. He says that one day Chris called their father and told him to check his bank account.

“He called my brother Chris back and said: ‘I don’t know how to feel. Since I left home I have had debts and I thought I’d be paying them off until I died and have this weight hanging over me, and now to have them completely cleared.’”

Liam went on to say that he “would love to be able to do something for [his] parents like that.” I’m sure he’ll be very upset to know that the most interesting thing to come out of his interview is the new info about his wonderful and perfect brother. That can happen when the most interesting thing about you is your ex-fiancee.
