These are the discussions the people should be having. But I have to say, this particularly question is a little offensive. I have a very visceral reaction to the nature of the left picture in question. As far as I am concerned, there is only one answer. Arms do not need pants. Arms need sweaters, arms might even benefit from some mittens.
Aside from the obvious lack of aesthetic value in the left photo, it’s simply obscene. No one puts it better:

It seems the large bulk of the Internet holds the correct opinion. The latter option is the only option. If you disagree, kindly spend your day fucking off by wearing your denim on your arms. Does it feel right?
