Drake to Coach Team Canada’s Celebrity All-Star Basketball Team at NBA All-Star Game

The really big question of the year has been: what awesome thing will Drake do now? Drake is a fan favorite of many. He’s the subject of some of the dankest memes of the 21st century, his songs bump to the same rhythm as my heartstrings and his hometown in the 6, Toronto, has stood steadfast behind him in a way they’ve never stood behind The Weeknd or Justin Bieber.

With Toronto to host this year’s 2016 NBA all-star team, it only makes sense that a native be the head coach of Team Canada‘s celebrity all-star team. I mean who else can you think of who loves the 6 as much as the ex-Degrassi star?

Drake has already made some big decisions from his head coach throne. Drafting indie frontman, Win Butler of Arcade Fire, Drake has also reached for Natalie Achonwa, the Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott, as well as former NBA players, Rick Fox and Travy McGrady.

Airing February 12, Drake will go head-to-head with four-time celebrity all-star MVP, Kevin Hart. You would think a really short dude wouldn’t be that great at basketball, but there must be something in the Philadelphia water that makes my 5’2″ father and Kevin Hart really good.
