R. Kelly Comments On Bill Cosby’s Alleged Sexual Misconduct…Because He’s R. Kelly

In nearly half a century of life, R. Kelly has taketh far more than he has giveth to citizens of the world. “Ignition: Remix” bumps… hard, but the price paid being dozens of statutory rape allegations and their matching payoffs is too damn high.

Right, so he has dozens of rape allegations under his belt, somehow he’s still booking interviews with massive media outlets, HuffPo and GQ alike. As such, he’s been given full latitude to comment on the media’s current roar of despicable celebrities. Hearts broke when America’s favorite sitcom dad, Bill Cosby, lay accused of dozens of rapes throughout his career. We were left thinking, if Dr. Huxtable is capable of this kind of betrayal, who isn’t? Dark corners became a more ominous that day.

In the year after, a mountain of evidence surfaced, erasing doubt that our father had done these wretched things. That Bill Cosby could be another one of those real life figures that suddenly goes bump in the night.

Who becomes the best figure to comment on the just downfall of our Cosby? Of course lifetime terrible person R. Kelly is the man for the job. R. Kelly really is a guy of the highest moral standing. R. Kelly really understands appropriate and mutually respectful sex practices. In his latest profile with magazine, GQ, Kelly jumps to Cosby’s defense.

Well, my opinion on that is, I don’t know what happened. I’m a fan of Bill Cosby’s from [The Cosby Show], of course — who’s not? — and for me to give my opinion on something that I have no idea if it’s true or not, all I can say is that it was a long time ago.

Let’s look at that again.

Oh, that makes it better? The trauma of rape just goes away completely with time, right? Bill Cosby has paid his debt to society and asked every woman since if she is a consenting party, right? Not exactly.

R. Kelly shouldn’t touch this topic with a ten-foot poll. In fact, legally… he can’t:
