At least I don’t have to go on a Kill Bill style revenge spree now.
While I wouldn’t put it past the film industry to look at the genuine grief millions of people feel in response to David Bowie’s passing as a moneymaking opportunity, apparently that’s off the table. This was an unfounded rumor started by The Hollywood Reporter.
According to Nicole Perlman, co-writer of Guardians of the Galaxy, and rumored screenwriter of Labyrinth 2: Back in the Habit, not only is she not writing it, but she’s fucking pissed off that people even think she would do something that shitty. She laid it all out on Twitter.
Guys, please don't fall for all the clickbait. No one is remaking "Labyrinth." That movie is perfect as it is.

Henson Co & I started talking in late 2014, so the timing of these rumors is so upsetting. I would never seek to profit from Bowie's death.

Labyrinth is my favorite film from childhood, so I share your concerns that any continuation of the world be handled with love and respect.

While Perlman says that there’s no remake in the works, her comments do leave a potential continuation on the table. Hmmmmm.
Myth busted???
They should do a porn version of the Labyrinth – oh wait, requiem for a dream. With more double dong scenes and a CGI Bowie slapping everyone in the face with his warlock cock. Toss in Kermit and Mrs Piggy for some plumper muppet sex. Get Animal to be punch fisting Fozzy Bear.
O.o
