Channing Tatum is Joining ‘Magic Mike Live’ In Vegas!!!!

It’s been a big year for Vegas. Britney Spears begun her residency, Justin Timberlake agreed to join her and the Backstreet Boys have pushed forward on a contract to begin their own stint in the Sin City. Now, Magic Mike Live announces that it’ll take its scantily denim-clad, but otherwise naked, male model show to the oasis in Nevada as well. Channing Tatum announced via Cosmopolitan that the show, set to begin in March 2017, will include the same men we’ve grown to objectify on-screen along with a few more fuzzy creatures a la the acclaimed book, Hot Guys And Baby Animals.

In another interview with Cosmo, Tatum revealed some more details for our voyeuristic pleasure and tingling nether regions. Tatum, now a successful actor, father and husband to the illustrious Jenna Dewan, wants us to know that he’s dancing for himself:

Even when I was actually stripping, it didn’t feel like it was for the women. It felt like it was more for the guy to go up and feel good about himself. It was like, ‘Hey, look at me’ [rolls his torso in a creepy way]. It was in the glam rock [era] where dudes thought they were rock stars, and they were sort of living out these fantasies. We want to create a place for women that is their gentlemen’s club, their Playboy club. It shouldn’t be sleazy. [You shouldn’t feel] nervous to go there because you feel unsafe; we want to create the polar opposite of that.

Everyone should have a safe space to look at gorgeous people. Everyone. And those gorgeous people dancing for our pleasure should leave feeling no less of themselves, they should not fear for their own safety in doing what they are good at.
