It Looks Like Lupita Nyong’o Is Gonna Be In ‘Black Panther’

YAAAAAAAAS.

Ok, but forreal, as who?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lupita Nyong’o is in talks to join the cast of Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther. She will apparently be playing T’Challa’s love interest, but based on the comics that could be:

A) Monica Lynn, an American singer and token ‘Superhero’s GF’ character that everyone has been bored of for like 20 years.

B) Okoye, a kickass body guard of the King of Wakanda who is in mad gay unrequited love with T’Challa in the comics. She’s the bald lady that gets in Black Widow’s face in the garage in Captain America: Civil War.  Unless they are ignoring the ‘unrequited part’ I don’t see that flying.

C) Storm. Yeah. From the X-Men. She and T’Challa were married in the comics, only problem is that Storm belongs to Fox and I don’t see them sharing.

D) Some kind of composite character.

I’m putting my money on option D, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
