Elon Musk Tried to Hookup With Amber Heard Through Email

Rich guys fall into two categories:

• Creepy and smart/sweet
• Creepy

It’s all a game of relativity, so it’s most likely that before Amber Heard decided to begin spending time with Elon Musk, there was a slightly creepier guy blowing up her phone at the same time. Musk might not have been Heard’s best option, but he’s her best option right now.

Three years ago, Elon Musk kinda met Amber Heard when they happened to be on the same lot for Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills. Amber had a role. Elon had some kind of cameo. The two never shared a word, but Musk had decided that was enough. He must know her. He wrote his first email to Rodriguez:

If there is a party or event with Amber, I’d be interested in meeting her just out of curiosity. Allegedly, she is a fan of George Orwell and Ayn Rand … most unusual.

Apparently a $12.4 billion net worth was enough for Rodriguez to set up a dinner for the two of them, even though Heard had already been dating Johnny Depp. When Heard didn’t show, he sent creepy email number 2.

Can you send her a note saying I would like to get together for lunch in LA? Am not angling for a date. I know she’s in a long-term relationship, but … Amber just seems like an interesting person to meet.
