Thomas Gibson Suspended From ‘Criminal Minds’ for Treating Writer Like Soccer Ball

We all wanna kick the writers of TV shows sometimes, but it turns out Thomas Gibson has zero chill.

According to TMZ, the 54-year-old manchild, better known as Aaron Hotchner on Criminal Minds, was directing and acting in a scene for season 12 when he got into it with one of the writers. Then he decided to take their dispute to the next level by kicking the dude in the leg.

Classy. And mature.

In response, CBS executives suspended Gibson and he hasn’t been on set in two weeks. It turns out if you are an adult man getting paid boatloads of money to do a job, you can’t just roam around kicking people who displease you.

It looks like Gibson realized this later, as he said this to TMZ:

“There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement. I regret that it occurred. We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible. We always have and always will.”

Whatever you say, crazy legs.

Criminal Minds will be back on CBS Wednesday, September 28th at 9 p.m. ET.
