Mel Gibson Slammed ‘Batman v Superman’ in the Most Brutal Way

Mel Gibson may be a crazy lunatic antisemite, but he knows how to tell a good story. Before he made three hour long snuff films in the name of Christ, he put out a lot of movies that worked. Like that one with the face paint.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Mad Mel said he made his latest film Hacksaw Ridge on a tight budget to call out Hollywood’s bloated budgets on stupid movies. He calls out movies that get budgets in the hundreds of millions, but especially Batman v Superman.

“I look at them and scratch my head. I’m really baffled by it. I think there’s a lot of waste, but maybe if I did one of those things with the green screens I’d find out different. It seems to me that you could do it for less… You’re spending outrageous amounts of money, $180 million or more, I don’t know how you make it back after the tax man gets you, and after you give half to the exhibitors. What did they spend on Batman v Superman that they’re admitting to?”

After told that it cost about $250 million to make, Gibson had this to say.

“And it’s a piece of s**t. I’m not interested in the stuff. Do you know what the difference between real superheroes and comic book superheroes is? Real superheroes didn’t wear spandex. So I don’t know. Spandex must cost a lot.”

Considering Mel Gibson’s latest film starring Spider Man is about war and is supposed to be his big comeback after spending like ten years jerking off in a cellar somewhere, it’s pretty Oscar baity, so he’s more than qualified to call out some goddamn garbage.
