Who to Believe? Serial Brawler Russell Crowe or Twitter Bigot Azealia Banks?

Battle of the unlikable stars.

Azealia Banks gave an inside scoop to The Sun, detailing her version of what happened at a party in Russell Crowe’s hotel room. Banks claims Russell choked and spit on her and called her the N-word.

Banks claims that at first, things were great, even flirtatious between her and Russell until she made fun of a horror director attending the party. The mood changed and Crowe accused Azealia of doing nothing with her life. “I’m a little offended but I was still keeping it light. I was like, ‘Your best days are behind you,” said Banks. You know, keeping it light by insulting a drunk Australian who even picked a fight over a hoverboard.

After another woman tried to defend Crowe, Banks admits she said “Girl, this is not the right time or place for us to be fighting, like what would happen if I got up and I slapped the s*** out of you, or I took a glass and f***ing threw it at you and you were bleeding all over the place? I would be wrong and we’d all be wrong, and the party would be done.” She goes on to say           “[Crowe] calls me a n*****, and then grabs me, picks me up, he chokes me by the throat, picks me up, throws me out of the room and then spits on me.”

Crowe vehemently denies all these claims. Most of the other members at the party that included, the RZA, Ridley Scott, Swedish pop star Elliphant, and comedian Jim Jefferies, all agree that Azealia was behaving erratically all night. Hopefully they also agree that is the strangest line up of party guests since the Monster Mash.

Jim Jefferies has taken to Twitter in defense of Crowe. Crowe claims that Banks herself went into a monologue of N-words and threatened guests with a broken bottle. Russell claims he got her in a bear hug and escorted her out of the room. Jefferies backs the claim 100% and accuses Banks of being a liar.

Banks has filed a police report for battery. Who knew that such openly hateful people wouldn’t end up getting along?
